The area is 84,421 square km. The population is 6572728 (2016). The per capita income of the country is about US $ 69000.

Education system

Ireland is one of the high reputed countries in the field of higher education. The main thing is that even its main language is Irish, English also use similarly as official language. Therefore, there are many English medium courses on all levels, which are not available in other European countries.

Application Period

Foreign students can apply once a year to Irish universities. The application period depends on university or college. Generally, the application period start between February and March. Some colleges and universities offer admission twice a year. It varies by study level and university courses. You have to apply along with the necessary documents and fees through the “admission branch” of the University of this Country.

Application fee

Application fee between 45-90 Euros. It varies university to university.

As a international students, if your first language is not English you need to proof your English proficiency.

Part-time work

It costs 400 to 600 euros per month to cover the cost of living. Foreign students get part-time work without a work permit. You have the opportunity to work 24 hours a week. And on summer vacations (three month’s) you can work full time.

Students can work in  restaurants, shops, shopping malls etc. The average possible earning 7 to 12 euros per hour. However, you cannot cover both educational cost and  living cost by part-time job. Because, tuition fees are very high in Ireland. But if you get a scholarship, then you are lucky.
